Respect for Food. An Inspiring community kitchen.
Refettorio Paris is the fourth community kitchen founded by the organisation Food for Souls and Grundig Parthnership. Food for Soul, a non-profit organisation founded by chef Massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore to empower communities to fight against food waste through social inclusion.
Volunteered artists, architects, designers and chefs came together to serve delicious meals from surplus ingredients to vulnerable members of the community. Located in the crypte of the Madeleine church, Le Foyer de la Madeleine is a social restaurant that serves refugees, homeless, rough sleepers and people in situations of social vulnerability.
