At the Cité de la Mode et du Design across the Seine, you will find an exhibition of  Kawakubo’s spring/summer collection for 2012, titled “White Drama.”The exhibition is displayed alongside a collection by the Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga. The French fashion curator and critic Olivier Saillard opened the Comme des Garçons “White Drama” exhibition on Wednesday night and the all-white installation is divided into six chapters, each featuring a series of silhouettes encased in an inflatable plastic dome. With the Comme des Garçons exhibition the museum allowed the house to present the whole Spring/ Summer 2012 collection, as a tribute to its art on design, its poetic character in contrast of the fashion industries and the game of branding.

Comme des Garçons collection resembles the great creations from the history of haute couture and flawlessly achieves the quintessential modern collection while evoking the timeless themes that mark a woman’s progression through life.
