Philippe Tournaire is a famous French jewelry designer who created a unique and very impressive ring collection, inspired by the architecture of cities or buildings.

The first architectural rings were discovered during the Merovingian age (500 to 752 AD). Architectural Rings were mostly found in Northern Gaul in tombs of high-ranking Merovingian women. They were called «ring of faith».
